I would love to see the full court filing document referred to in the link below.
Truth, with all its many sides, is a beautiful tapestry that invigorates life, creativity, and levity. It inspires the world I want to live in, as opposed to the dripping decay of death that lies bring: either a slow death or a quick death, depending on the degree sickness that certain lies bring. (I.E. Like a brief, common cold, likely easily combated, or unchecked bone cancer, which is invariably fatal.)
The thing about all lies is that they compromise the mental and emotional, and consequently, the physical immune system of the people who employ them, the people who believe them, and even the people who are unknowingly associated with them. Initially, they may protect people from the discomfort of looking squarely at truth and dealing with it. Eventually, they lead to the destruction of trust, an important social bond that protects societies as a whole. In summation, lies are poison. They are to the human soul what damp is to dead wood: a scenario ripe... for rot.

Ended a debate between Senators Daniel Webster of Massachusetts and Robert Hayne of South Carolina.
Daniel Webster won the day, but with hindsight, modern citizens may side with Hayne.
Hayne re-enforced the idea of a confederation while Webster defended the idea of a federation.
In a confederacy the people may overcome tyrants quicker than in a federation, for in THAT condition, do the words of the Unites States constitution have TEETH. #AntiFederalistPaper9 http://resources.utulsa.edu/law/classes/rice/Constitutional/AntiFederalist/09.htm "We [the Aristocratic party of the United States,] do not much like that sturdy privilege of the people -- the right to demand the writ of habeas corpus. We have therefore reserved the power of refusing it in cases of rebellion, and you know we are the judges of what is rebellion...."
